Our group is a member of Northwestern University's Institute for Bioengineering and Nanoscience in Advanced Medicine (IBNAM).

Our group is a member of a new institute for the study of Biologically Inspired Materials (BIMat), established with funding under the University Research, Engineering, and Technology Institute (URETI) through NASA. The program includes researchers from Princeton University, Northwestern University, the University of California at Santa Barbara, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and ICASE, an independent research organization based at NASA/Langley.
