Messersmith group member Jing Su has received a Baxter-Northwestern Early Career Development Award in Bioengineering. Baxter Healthcare Corporation and Northwestern University’s Institute for BioNanotechnology in Medicine (IBNAM) are collaborating on discovery projects for future medical technologies. IBNAM’s mission is to promote interdisciplinary research dedicated to accelerating medical discovery and breeding scientific collaboration in clinical medicine, engineering, physical sciences, and life sciences. As part of that program, Jing has received a two-year fellowship to further pursue her research on biomaterials for diabetes treatment. Congratulations Jing!
